Contacts help needed

Hi, how do i get all contacts in the "all contacts" list moved or merged into the "all icloud" list?

It's a business phone that is about to change provider and I'm worried that i will lose all other than my icloud contacts and i have tried everything to resolve to no avail. Greatly appreciate any advice

The short answer is no. iCloud will not allow you to merge contacts that live under a different email. That is how many employers manage employee contacts. Yes you will lose them if you lose access to the account. You can try exporting them which requires a computer and a lot of patience. I would contact Apple support for assistance. Just a heads up, bringing it to the store is a waste of time as they will not touch something like that with a ten foot pole. Good luck!

Hi and thanks for replying. For clarity, those other contacts aren't listed under a different email - they are long established friends/family that are phone numbers only. They are on my device (somewhere). The contacts currently listed under icloud (registered to my own email address and not business) are mostly business contacts and ironically those are the ones that wouldn't bother me if i lost.
