How to connect a numeric keypad to my mac mini (details in question)

I have a Model No GCB14, ASIN NO: B0026P77NA that i would like to use with my mac mini. When i plug it in, my computer thinks it is a keyboard. "Your unknown device cannot be identified and will not be usable until it is identified." Is there a way to get my computer to recognize this keypad? Have i stored it in my desk drawer for 100 years only to discover that it is not compatible???

The answer was to select the type of keyboard it is. I chose ANSI and it worked!
