pictures sent to me won’t download and says message send failure ever though I was the recipient. This has been happening despite being connected to the internet or using data. How can I fix this?

For sending an image to an Android device you need MMS enabled by your Carrier for the SIM that you use and then enable it in your Settings. See the Pic below
