I need to Download Rosetta 2

Where can I find a link to download Rosetta 2 on my MacBook Air. I have an application that won't open without it. It did not giving me the option to download Rosetta when the application was installed. Any information would be greatly appreciated. The application is thinkorswim for TD Ameritrade.

Part 1 of 2

If you need to install Rosetta on your Mac

Rosetta 2 is only available on Apple Computer with the Silicon M1 / M2 CPU.

Terminal Command

softwareupdate --install-rosetta

Part 2 of 2

Control Click on the TD Ameritrade Application

A Sub Menu should appear and choose Get Info

Much like in below image

Notice the BOX to enable or not enable "Open with Rosetta "

Also in the same image at very top where it Designates the Application as being Universal or Intel

If it says Intel

Only Intel Binary Code. This software will invoke Rosetta 2 to translate the Intel binaries so the operating system can understand and execute the Application. The Applications must be 64 Bit to function on Big Sur, Monterey and Ventura

If it says Universal

Universal Binary Software.  It contains Both Intel and M1/ M2 ARMs binary code and refer to (  Universal 2 ) When the user installs a 64 bit Application that contains Both Intel and M1 / M2 ARMs binaries - depending on factors, the Operating System may or may not invoke Rosetta 2.
