unlock minor iPhone in family sharing

My daughter is on my family share account (I am the guardian/admin). She has changed her pin without permission and I’m unable to open her phone. She is 11 and knows she can not keep her phone locked from us, the parents. Is there a way I can unlock it without using recovery mode?

Thanks

Hello ag782001,

If you don't know the passcode, the only way to remove it would be by following the steps here: If you forgot your iPhone passcode - Apple Support

Otherwise, you would need the current passcode to change it to a different one.

We also suggest taking a look at this article for several different parental control settings, including blocking the ability to change the passcode: Use parental controls on your child's iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

We hope that helps.

Take care.
