My Photos app has been "Updating People" for weeks, probably even months, now with no change to the people shown in it. I have seen others post saying it may take weeks.. Why is this? From a technical standpoint I don't think it should be a multiple-week process to scan photos for peoples' faces.

To Clarify:
I'm not mad. Just IMO, waiting a long time is unnecessary for so many, when you can use a computer to perform the update. Maybe the wrong term was used here: "ridiculously waiting"

However, I still think this should be done faster automatically in the Photos app.. (in case any developers are listening in..)
