The Original Apple iPad Head Charger 18-20 Watt

Hey guys, i just curious about this one.

Since Apple always talk about simplicity of their products, I wonder, does iPad Pro 11-inch (3rd gen) head chargers support power delivery? Since I could charged my iPad so fast in minutes.

The articles only says, it is "fast charging" but none of it says "Support with Power Delivery".

Is it really has Power Delivery features?

It is important to understand that the iPad's "charger" is actually built-into the iPad itself. What you connect to the iPad to provide power to that charger is called a power adapter.

To fast charge an iPad, you would need a power adapter that provides, at least, 18W of power.

The wattage required to fast charge an iPad depends on the specific model of the iPad. Here are the wattage requirements for fast charging various iPad models:

  • iPad Pro 12.9-inch (3rd and 4th generation): A USB-C power adapter that supports at least 18 watts of power is required for fast charging.
  • iPad Pro 11-inch (1st and 2nd generation): A USB-C power adapter that supports at least 18 watts of power is required for fast charging.
  • iPad Air (4th generation): A USB-C power adapter that supports at least 20 watts of power is required for fast charging.
  • iPad (8th and 9th generation): A USB-C power adapter that supports at least 20 watts of power is required for fast charging.
  • iPad mini (6th generation): A USB-C power adapter that supports at least 20 watts of power is required for fast charging.
