Lost Sound

I recorded a video on my IPhone and when I watched it back after 30 seconds the audio cuts off and there is not more audio for the rest of the video. Is there any way to get the audio back ?

Hello elianny162,

From out understanding, the audio on the videos recorded using your iPhone cut off and no more audio is heard for the rest of the video.

Have you restarted your phone since this starting happening? Does this continue if you restart your iPhone?

Restart your iPhone

Make sure you're using the latest iOS version.

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

The iPhone does have multiple microphones, try these steps here to isolate the issue: If the microphones on your iPhone aren't working

"Clear the microphones

  1. Remove any screen protectors, films, or cases from your iPhone.
  2. Clear any debris from the openings of your iPhone.

If people can't hear you when you're using speakerphone

  1. Open the Camera app.
  2. Record a video while speaking at the top of your iPhone.
  3. Tap the camera chooser  to switch to the other camera. Then record another video while speaking at the top of your iPhone.
  4. When you play back the videos, you should hear your voice clearly.
  5. If you don't hear your voice clearly, contact Apple Support."

Does this happen when trying to record any specific audio or any sound?
