Hi Helen8818,
Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We understand that you're having an issue with your iCloud Storage. We'd like to help.
You mentioned that you updated to the latest version. Are you referring to updating the iOS on the device to iOS 16.4.1? We ask because an update to your iOS will not increase your iCloud Storage.
You can check your iCloud storage on any device, following these steps:
Check your iCloud storage on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
1. On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud.
2. The bar graph shows your overall storage usage.
3. Tap Manage Account Storage or Manage Storage for more details.
4. Below the graph, you see a list of apps and features and how much iCloud storage they use. The apps and features that use the most storage are at the top of the list. You can tap an app or feature for more information.
Check your iCloud storage on your Mac
1. On your Mac, do one of the following:
* macOS Ventura: Choose Apple menu> System Settings, click [your name] at the top of the sidebar, then click iCloud on the right.
* macOS 12 or earlier: Choose Apple menu> System Preferences, click Apple ID, then click iCloud.
2. The storage bar shows your overall storage usage.
3. Click Manage for more details.
4. A list of apps and features is shown, as well as how much iCloud storage they use. The apps and features that use the most storage are at the top of the list. You can click an app or feature for more information.
Check your iCloud storage on your Windows computer
1. On your Windows computer, open iCloud for Windows.
2. The bar graph shows your overall storage usage.
3. Click Storage for more details.
4. On the left, a list of apps and features is shown, as well as how much iCloud storage they use. The apps and features that use the most storage are at the top of the list. You can click an app or feature for more information.
If you're not seeing 50GB of storage listed, you may need to complete a purchase to increase your storage. Here are some details about iCloud+ storage pricing: iCloud+ plans and pricing - Apple Support
Hope that helps.
Cheers!
