Hello chrys147,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. If you don’t see an update available for your iPhone, it most likely means that you’re currently up-to-date on your iOS version. As of today (April 9th 2023), the latest version of iOS was iOS 16.4.1: About iOS 16 Updates - Apple Support

If you don't have this specific version installed, we can recommend some steps to get you fully updated. Check out the steps below:

1.) Make sure that you don't have any configuration profiles installed on your device. This can prevent you from seeing updates: Install or remove configuration profiles on iPhone - Apple Support

2.) Sometimes beta profiles can also prevent you from updating. If you have a beta profile installed, remove it: How to uninstall iOS or iPadOS beta software - Apple Support

3.) This resource can also help you get fully updated: If you can't update or restore your iPhone or iPod touch - Apple Support

We hope this information is helpful. Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Take care.
