Disable Google photo syncing via Mac
Two years ago I deleted all my photos from Google photos and removed the Google photos app from iPhone. But I'm out of free Google storage again and I can see on my Mack that my photos are still backing up to Google Photos. I can remove the photos from Google photos manually, but how to I stop the syncing/backing up to my Google Photos so that this doesn't keep happening. I've read about removing the Google Photos app from my Mac, but do I even have an actual app on my Mac? I don't see it in Applications and I always just access them by going to photos.google.com. Sorry, I'm not overly tech-savvy, but usually I can bungle my way through the basics. But I can't figure this one out. I'm on a MacBook Pro, MacOs Monterey, v.12.6.3. Thanks in advance for any help.
