static issues only when making phone calls
I hear fine on phone, but callers hear static
When someone calls me or when I call them, all they hear is static. I can hear fine.
This is only when using the phone.

It could be a microphone issue. Start here:
Get help with the microphones on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
Then test with the Voice Memos app.
