Remote video recording

I have an older iPhone SE I would like to be able to use to record sporting events. Is there an option to use my newer iPhone to remotely start and stop or even pause video recordings?

Also is anyone aware of an inexpensive app that may do this that is more up to date than an ezreelz or scorecam? Review’s don’t seem too promising.
