Perhaps this is a Faulty iPhone?:

You might have a faulty device. So, contact Apple, seeing if you can get this replaced. Important: Have the iPhone's Serial Number with you when calling them. Note that you have a one year, out-of-the-box limited warranty on this device. So, if less and one year old, or if you covered AppleCare with this, then see if getting this replaced by Apple would be free of charge to you.

• Why the Wait: Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)

No one here has any say in devices being serviced. So, if it does not suit your needs, then I guess just move forward.

Do your Part: These are user-to-user forums. Apple rarely reads these forums on their own time as it is. So, provide Apple with feedback on this.  Apple wont get back to you directly, but the more they hear of this, the more they will know what is going on, and what needs to be fixed.

About a Faulty Device:

I had an issue on my 2017 MBP, and had to send it in 11 times to get this fixed (due to COVID and stores being closed. It was deemed a faulty device, and I was granted a new Mac. The connector between the LogicBoard and the screen were disconnecting.
