Cannot Get Mail, No connection available to retrieve messages from Gmail! ERROR ON APPLE WATCH SE 2ND GEN (BOUGHT 1 week ago)

Hi Community,

I got the Apple Watch SE 2nd generation last week and I tried to set up my Gmail account on the watch app which was successful with no errors. But I had noticed that even with internet and on cellur i get the error on mail when looking for messages "Cannot Get Mail, No connection available to retrieve messages from Gmail" I have been very dissapointed as this is a new watch for my son!

FYI - This watch was setup through the option of family setup as my son dosen't have a phone!
