Hi,

I have the same problem like: Controlling volume on Sky Soundbox with A… - Apple Community

Answer is not helpful an according to my searches many people have the same issue without any help received.

It is the fact that the IR signal from the Sky Soundbox is just not interpreted by the Apple TV 4K. Other IR remotes are recognized without problems. Do not understand how this can happen.

Hi SebKri,

If the Siri remote works with other devices, but not the Sky Soundbox, you may just need to use the Sky Soundbox's remote for the volume instead.

Hi,

the same type of answer in this thread unfortunately. Please have a closer look to all predececcor threads about his topic. All unanswered, no help by Apple.

The Sky support cannot help here, as this is a IR recognision problem on the Apple TV.

Please provide more details, dependencies etc. in general about the IR remote learning to control other devices via the Apple TV remote.
