Thanks for posting to Apple Support Communities.
We understand you're seeing a blue outline around message/type box on your iPad. Go to Settings > Accessibility > Keyboards, and see if Full Keyboard Access is enabled. If so, disable it. If it is already disabled, toggle it on, and then toggle it back off. See here: Adjust the onscreen and external keyboard settings on iPad - Apple Support
