Can't delete files on CF Express Card

I just switched everything over to my Mac and it has been working flawlessly except for one issue I just cannot seem to resolve. I cannot delete files on a CF Express card that has come out of a Nikon Camera. I don't have any other cameras to figure out the issue, but I regularly import over 1,000 and it will not delete them through either capture one, or manually.

I have searched around this seems to be somewhat of a common issue, but I have yet to find any resolution for the problem. Has anyone identified a solution to this issue yet? I do not want to be manually deleting this amount of files from the camera on a regular basis.

We'll be glad to assist you with this. To start, we would need to know what happens when you attempt to delete one of these files. Do you get any error messages or similar? If so, what are those word for word?

Aside from that, following the steps in Delete files and folders on Mac - Apple Support should allow you to delete files using your Mac. One thing to note, is that if your card is formatted to a file system that isn't fully compatible with macOS, that could be why you're unable to make changes such as deleting.
