FIX: Screenshot leaves rest of screen dark (Ventura 13.2.1 w/ multiple monitors)

Within the last week, when I took a screenshot the area captured returns to full brightness, but the area not captured stays darkened (screenshot below). I have two external monitors connected through a Landing Zone dock, both via HDMI. This was a hard fail. When the MacBook was out of the dock, the problem went away.

I removed and reinserted the HDMI cables in the dock several times, seating them carefully, and the problem stopped happening. A simple fix to an oddball problem.
