iPhone security

My iPhone doesn’t allow me to visit websites that are deemed not secure. I was recently traveling and needed to visit some websites that could not provide a secure connection, but the iPhone would not allow it. However, I do not use my phone for any purpose such as banking or financial transactions, so I have no personal information on it that could be compromised. How can I get rid of this security stranglehold that my Apple phone is forcing on me?

iPhone 13, iOS 16

Hey there Sir1Pocket,

We understand you're wondering how to prevent sites from blocking access with the "not secure" warning. We'd be happy to provide information to help you out.

On your iPhone go to Settings > Safari and switch off Fraudulent Website Warning. Keep in mind that this may make your iPhone less secure while browsing.

Kind regards.
