Why is Safari taking up almost half of my phone storage?

Tap where it says 4 tabs and and see if you have any other tab groups with more tabs. If that comes up negative go to Settings/Safari and clear website data.

If you only have four tabs open, try checking your browser downloads/your files. If you’ve downloaded things off of websites on your phone, it might store in Safari.

hen your storage is probably corrupted. Back up the phone, then restore the backup you just made.

Last thing I can think of is clearing your website data. Besides that I don’t know how else to help. Even if it says it’s not a lot it may end up clearing some of those gigabytes that it takes of your storage. (I didn’t realize Lawrence already said this, my bad!)

How many tabs do you have open? In Safari, tap on the overlapped squares icon in the lower right corner.
