I get a "cannot send email" message. It cannot be deleted. How can I get rid of it?

I also cannot attach a screen shot to this request for help!

iMac, macOS 10.12

if the email is in your outbox, disconnect from the Internet then try deleting the email.

Thank you. I cannot fine the problem emails (there are three of them). Where should I look? You will notice there is no red delete button on the window.
