Re-tuning a finished mix

Hi, I have a demo that for some reason was mixed about 50 cents too high, so it is sort of between keys and sounds really jarring when played in a set list of other normally tuned songs. I tried loading it into an audio track in Logic and setting the Region settings to Fine Tune> -50. This worked well, except that for some reason now the lead vocal sounds like it has a really ugly delay effect on it. Is there another way I can re-tune this file without this happening?

To Re-Tune or Pitch-Shift a stereo file without creating artefacts is a challenge.

When you work in the Main Window, it's done with flextime. You can try the different algorithms:

Flex Time algorithms and parameters in Logic Pro – Apple Support (UK)

You can also try to tune the file in the sample editor by double-clicking the region, File > Functions > Time and Pitch Machine. Here you can choose from other algorithms than in the main window.
