Two problems with ESPN Plus app on Apple Tv

Hey All!

I found a solution that worked for me. This is what I did (for Apple TV Users):

-There is a Apple TV OS update, so I went ahead and did the update.

-I then deleted the ESPN App from my Apple TV and re-downloaded it.

-When I opened the app it automatically logged me out and asked me to put in my credentials

When I did all that, it seemed to do the trick. So far so good!

I’m having this issue as well. Singular broadcasts work just fine. Trying to add a game with multiple broadcasts will show a black screen with only audio. So far I haven’t found a way to get this to work. Super frustrating considering this is a feature we’re supposed to be able to use and it’s very concerning with NHL playoffs coming up. Hopefully this can get fixed soon.

Looks like I came to the right place for the answers & glad it wasn’t just my Apple TV. I need it for my Saturday morning futbol. Need them to fix this

So glad I’m not the only one with this problem. Also following the NHL and very annoying issue. I tried deleting the app and redownloading. I also tried a hard restart of the Apple TV box.

No luck.

Assuming it’s an issue with the app. Hoping it gets fixed before Stanley Cup Playoffs. Horrible timing for this to happen.

I have had this issue since they updated the app on 4/2. I called ESPN + services and they tried to tell me to sign out of my account and unplug the device for 15 minutes then setup again and of course that did nothing. The multicast feature used to be great and now it is broken on the Apple TV app. It works perfectly fine on the ESPN App for the Xbox Series X. Unfortunately there is no way to complain or roll back to a previous version so we are stuck with the broken app for now with the Stanley Cup playoffs starting.

Glad I am not the only one having this problem. With the NHL playoffs coming up, I am really mad if this does not get fixed.

Also having this issue. I noticed if it’s a game with a singular broadcast, it works fine. The moment each team has its own broadcast it breaks for me. Hoping there’s no NHL playoffs issue.

I called them as well and they did tell me that they are alerting the techs to try and fix this. Hopefully soon because I too want to watch the NHL playoffs.

My ESPN app did not automatically log me out when I reinstalled it. I had to logout myself and it didn't seem to fix the issue. Is yours still working?

Constantly have to re login into the app to watch hockey. Absolutely the worst app. Only have it on two apple TV devices so I cam watch hockey
