Photos Blank in Photo Album IPhone 12 Pro Max

I took some photos and videos at a wedding last night and went back to view them and they look blank? These photos are very important, does anyone know how to recover these?

please note:

I have iCloud Photos, they are in “unable to upload” folder so I cannot view them on iCloud.com
i have the latest software
I have restarted my phone several times
i have logged in and out of iCloud

the bride and groom would like to see these photos so if this could be sorted that would be great! Thank you

Connecting to Wifi is the first part and then getting connected to the Internet is the second

If you connect to Wifi, doesn't necessarily mean you are connected to the internet. If you are not connected to wifi could be a problem with iPhone settings or Router/Modem Settings
If you are not connected to the internet is the sole issue of Router / Modem Settings. Contact your ISP immediately

For your Internet connection.

Over Cellular: contact your Carrier (Cellular Service Provider). The agency who issued the SIM to you
Over WiFI: Contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider), the agency who provided the Internet Service on your Modem/Router to you

However --> Connect iPhone to the Internet - Apple Support

Hi, I am connected to internet that works at my home, and the issue still persists, cannot open the photos at all. I tried connecting my phone to my Mac and I still couldn’t view or important the photos
