There are several PC software desktop softwares for cropping and splitting images into 4 parts or more. I can. accomplish this also with a Photoshop droplet but ideally I want to use a OSX program that will allow me to set the dimensions of the slice and then have it batch process the whole folder of images. Do we have anything in OSX that can do this?
Hey there! Since you're in the Aperture forum, which is kind of a quiet backwater since Apple discontinued the app like 8 years ago, you might have better luck in a macOSX forum that matches your OS version. They might have more up-to-date recommendations for you. Hope that helps :)
Right, I guess I should have stated the questions as “ Does anyone know of a 3rd party solution that will batch process images wherein one can slice images in to 4 equal images. Strange that after all these decades, all the capable software for photos is on Windows given how much Apple promotes and encourages photography.

TBH, apart from Photoshop I don't know any but I would suggest that you post this in a different forum. You're in the Aperture forum which is a quiet backwater as Apple discontinued this app 8 years ago. I'd try in a MAcOSX forum for whatever your version of the OS is.
Photoshop? That's on MacOS. But I guess you're asking is there an Apple product? Then no.
