iOS 16.4 battery won’t charge issue, screen locks

My phone’s battery seems to suddenly go down quickly. I attempt to charge w an Apple cord and block, it won’t charge. I try a wireless charger, won’t work. Even when battery is less than 50%. I turn it off and on. Then the screen you can’t swipe or do anything. I do a hard restart. Nothing helps. When I let the battery run out and plug in the dead phone in the morning, it then will charge. But the issue starts up again in the evening.

You may have a poor battery condition which cannot provide sufficient power for peak performance. What is the Battery Health of your iPhone? Open Settings Battery Battery Health and let us know which percentage you see for Maximum Capacity. Also note what is written under Peak Performance. If your battery's Maximum Capacity shows a value of 80% or less, then it has gone through its lifecycle and therefore should be replaced, according to Apple.
