iPhone SE 2022 Camera not focusing and glitching

I have a brand new iPhone SE 2022 (3rd generation).

I detected quite early that there was an issue with the camera after trying to take a picture of a barcode. The camera will not focus on objects unless it’s really close (a few centimetres) and even still, if you go too close, the camera will be blurry.

Secondly, the camera app seems to be glitching. It takes long to go from a black screen to the lens being active and sometimes pink lines show up on the bottom of the camera.

I am comparing the camera quality to the iPhone SE 2020 (2nd generation) and I had never experienced such issues.

I have tried doing a soft reset as well as restarting my iPhone and resetting all settings but nothing seems to work.
