Cannot connect to App Store
I have some old iPods running IOS6 that are used as part of an AV system remote. They work fine. But I also have several identical iPods that I want to add the same Apps too as backups. When I sign into the App store, it tells me that my password is not good even though I get messages on my other Apple Devices that I have signed into my account and then gives me the 6 digit code to enter. But it is not possible to enter on the old iPod. So it is not possible.
Additionally, I tried to set up a new AppleID to use for these iPods, and after filling in the information, it continuously tells me that it cannot process the info and to try later. And this just continues and continues.
I know that these are old iPods and old IOS, but they are my preferred method of controlling the AV system, and I have no need to update apps. I just need to be able to add Apps to additional iPods.
Any advice? Do not tell me to buy newer devices since I have the latest iMac, iPhone 14 Pro, iPad Mini 6, AppleTV etc and just have a specific need to continue using these old iPods. The remote device they fit into will not fit newer iPods as the device was made for the particular iPod 4th generation.
Thank you
