COMAND ntg4.7

I was trying to connect my Mercedes COMAND to my IPhone when the Ethernet option appeared when the COMAND was trying to establish a data connection with my phone. Apart from the fact that I still have no data connection between my COMAND and my iPhone - and I would really wish to understand why and how this can be achieved - how come this Ethernet option was triggered wirelessly? Are there any manual settings that could be accessed and inserted in order to establish this data connection between my Mercedes COMAND NTG 4.7 and my iPhone 7? I know it is not the latest technology that I have but perhaps someone out there has managed to easily solve this issue without much fiddling.

Wireless data connections require a healthy battery to power the iPhone's antenna. ...Does your iPhone 7 still have its original battery?

And what's the Maximum Capacity % here?...

75% is not healthy and well below Apple's recommended level of 80% for replacing the battery. The weak battery could be the reason for this: "I still have no data connection between my COMAND and my iPhone." ...So have the aging, original battery replaced:

Yes the battery is still the original one and usually well charged. The point is that the COMAND still pairs with the phone and I still answer and make calls via COMAND. But as far as data is concerned a connection could never be established. I mean I have not established it for the past 10 years ever since I had my car and would like to believe that the matter would have somewhat become simpler and resolved.

My question wasn't about being "well charged" but rather its capacity. ...So to be clearer, in Settings app, scroll down to Battery and tap it. Then tap Battery Health and tell us what the Maximum Capacity % is. If its value is only "––", let us know that.
