This only happens on my iPad (not my iPhone). When I open the Numbers app, it always opens in the same spreadsheet, even though I closed that spreadsheet the last time I used Numbers. Why doesn’t Numbers open my spreadsheet folder so that I can click on the spreadsheet that I want to open? How can I fix this?

You'll want to make sure you've properly closed the file. In order to close a document, tap the Spreadsheets link at the top-left of the page.
