how to remove windows from a mac after migration

When I bought my Mac I migrated the info from my Windows computer and now have two logins- almost like 2 computers. Would like to remove the windows side and was wondering how to do this and would I lose anything from the Mac side as it seems like the pictures show up on both the windows amd the Mac side. Thank you.

Hi Boxador,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities.

It sounds like you use Migration Assistant and you transferred a user account. You want to remove the old account from your Windows computer without losing any data from your mac. Once you have received all content and it is shown on your Mac you can delete the content from your old computer, if you prefer.

If this doesn't address your concern, provide more clarifying details.

Thank you for your response. I had already migrated the information from my old computer but now no longer need that information and wanted to remove the 'windows side' from my Mac and only have a Mac login. I am worried about losing pictures or data from my computer as it seems like some pictures are available on 'both sides'. Thanks again.
