What is your model Apple TV box? Identify your Apple TV model - Apple Support and Find your Apple TV model number - Apple Support.

What was your model remote? Identify your Apple TV remote - Apple Support

The new Siri Remote is compatible with Apple TV (4th generation or later), when running up-to-date system software (tvOS 15.4 or later).

The Apple TV Remote (Siri Remote) strictly doesn’t pair with TVs, never has. But you can control some aspects of the functionality of a TV through HDMI-CEC:

- CEC allows supporting TVs to wake or go to standby when Apple TV wakes or goes to sleep mode.

- CEC allows supporting TVs to change input selection to the newly activated connected device.

The Siri Remote has an IR transmitter to send volume control signals directly to the TV or audio system.
