Okay, so you want to reconfigure the Do Not Disturb function; to disable it entirely.

Settings > Focus > Do Not Disturb.

Details: Use Do Not Disturb with Focus on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

“Turn it off” is ambiguous, of course.

Open Control Panel by swiping from the upper right corner, and tap the Do Not Disturb button.

The only answer but not helpful because I want SHUT OFF "do not disturb" not activate it. Am I missing something (other than the calls divered to voice mail by dnd)? Ralph
