Sound on 2012 MacBook in Safe Mode

How can I enable Sound in Safe mode on my MacBook 2012 screen size 13 inch? It keeps switching off in normal mode and I can't afford the repair cost. The MacBook works fine in Safe mode , however.

iMac, macOS 10.13

First, you need to post to the appropriate forum area. There are no 2012 MacBooks. MacBooks go from 2006 to 2010 and 2015 to 2017.

So, you may have a MacBook Air or MacBook Pro or you have the year wrong.

Click on the Apple menu's, "About This Mac," to identify the exact model of your Mac, then post to the appropriate forum area.

sorry, a mac's sound does not work while in safe mode. there is nothing anyone can do about it. no workarounds. no terminal commands. and no, I don't know why.

Sorry. I should be more specific. How can I enable Sound in Safe mode on my MacBook Pro 2012 Model Number A1278 screen size 13 inch? It keeps switching off in normal mode and I can't afford the repair cost. The MacBook works fine in Safe mode , however.

If I could just get the Terminal command to enable sound I can at least get some use out of it.
