Cannot Enter Time Machine

Sine updating to Ventura I no longer see "Enter Time Machine" where I can browse for backed up files. I do see a link to "Browse Time machine Backups" however this does not do the same thing. I am unable to see an backups at all.

Please help, how todo I get back the old "Enter Time Machine" which would allow me to restore old files. Thanks

I've also been annoyed by Time Machine for a while, and confused by the removal of "enter time machine", but then I realised that I *can* still do what I used to be able to do, I just have to be much more patient. When I navigate to a specific folder and then select "browse time machine backups", at first I can't access any of them... but if I wait a few minutes, I can. Very irritating but I have got used to it!

As mentioned above, I can see that but it doesn't work. There are no backups there. I see the timeline but no older files to restore as I could before Ventura and I could Enter Time Machine, that is why I am asking for help. When I click Browse Time Machine Backups I can only see the current folder, no longer the two years of backups to restore as I used to have.

Yes. Obviously I would not try to use Time Machine if the drive was not recognised and mounted.

I can see all the folders and files in finder when I click on the disk icon.

What I am saying is that I am unable to restore from Time Machine as the restores don't show in the timeline since Ventura. I used to be able to restore anything from the last two years, but not now.

This isn't about the drive not being connected.
