Anywho, music is a priority in my life. I had canceled Apple Music and recently tried to re-up it.
I know I’ve done this before and my library popped right back up. Idk how or why that changed but there’s ZERO chance I’m starting all that over again. Just to have to do it again.
That's they way it has always worked. Any tracks you add to your library from the Apple Music subscription service, will go away if you cancel it. Tracks that are uploaded or matched from a computer to the Apple Music's iCloud Music library will also stop being available once the subscription is canceled. They can be uploaded and matched again, if the Computer that holds the library is still active and logged in your Apple ID. There is no support for storing your library if you are not subscribed to the service. There never has been. If it worked before, it was lucky. It's not supposed to work like that.
if it means getting an android phone I will do that. (I bought the first iPod in 2004 and have had an iPhone since they came out)
Get whatever device fits your needs best. Threats don't work here. We have no investment in what device you use or buy. Do whatever you need to do. Just don't expect things like Youtube Music to work any differently on an Android device.
I need a PERMANENT music solution. I pay for storage every **** month and give you all my life’s info for all this “syncing” it’s crazy that I can’t just have a regular music library tht doesn’t disappear every few years
The only permanent solution, is for you to take responsibility of your own music, and store your own music you purchase or rip from CDs on your own external drive or drives. Apple Music subscription service and its associated iCloud Music library work only while you are subscribed to service.
