Maps GPS Directions Voice, It's now LOW
Maps GPS Directions Voice, It's now LOW
I have a iPhone 11; also, I use HondaLink for my apps.
Previously, my car radio volume (not loud) when using Apple Maps GPS, the directions voice
was loud enough for me to hear directions (over radio’s volume) .. whether or not I wore my hearing aids.
NOW, Maps GPS direction voice is LOW.
I’m unable to hear the GPS voice directions over my car radio volume.
I googled (tried everything) and have not found a remedy.
I read .. the sound setting in Maps is no longer there to adjust.
I'm hard of hearing and must be able to hear the Map directions.
If true, why did Apple remove the setting (hide settings/ not allow people a way to find info)?
FYI:
1. My Ringtones, are on high.
2. Driving, on the screen, Maps ‘Volume’ is 'on' (not muted).
3. Accessibility
Hearing Devices: When I wear my HA’s, both show 'connected'.
4. Someone said the GPS voice volume for Maps adjust feature was removed.
That person (said they) fixed the volume problem as follows:
Settings
> Siri & Search
> Siri Voice. Select the voice you want to use; while it’s speaking use
iPhone's volume and adjust buttons to turn volume up or down.
NOTE:
I followed #4 instructions, and my iPhone's volume is already set on high.
HELP!
I must use Maps daily. GPS voice (over radio) is low and it's frustrating.
