My ipad suddenly ghost touch means automatically touching in ipad sceen how can i fix this ?

Dear Apple Community,

I hope this email finds you well. I am reaching out for assistance with an ongoing issue I have been facing with my iPad.

Initially, my iPad was exhibiting automatic ghost touch behavior, where the screen would respond to touches or gestures without any physical input. To address this, I had the screen replaced at a local market in Bangladesh. However, after just 2 months, the ghost touch issue has resurfaced.

I am unsure if this is a software bug or if there may be other underlying causes. I am seeking your expert guidance and assistance in resolving this matter. I have been unable to find an original iPad home button with fingerprint functionality for replacement.

I appreciate any insights, solutions, or recommendations you can provide to help me resolve these issues. Thank you in advance for your prompt response and assistance.

Sincerely,

Arik

If the iPad screen has been replaced by anyone other than an Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP), TouchID will be disabled. The TouchID sensor is a critical security component that must be re-enabled - with special software - if it is disconnected from the main logic board, or otherwise disturbed. This software is not available outside of Apple.

Similarly, only Apple AASPs have access to genuine parts. As such, the replacement screen will not be of Apple origin, or may have been scavenged from another device. Either way, screen performance cannot be guaranteed if the screen is replaced outside of Apple’s network of AASPs.

To further compound your difficulties, if an unauthorised repair has been attempted, you will have forfeited all opportunity for ongoing service by Apple or its AASPs.

As such, your options are now very limited. For repair, you are now committed to using a third-party repairer - who will not be able to restore full functionality of your iPad. The alternative is to replace the iPad itself.

Sorry, this won’t have been the news that you were hoping to learn…
