If you're experiencing intense battery draining on your 14" MacBook Pro 2023, even though your battery health is 100%, and you've checked Activity Monitor energy panel, there are a few things you can try:

  1. Check the brightness: The brightness level of your display can have a significant impact on battery life. Make sure the brightness is not set too high, and consider enabling "Auto Brightness" in the Display preferences.
  2. Close unnecessary apps and processes: Even if there is no process that is using a lot of energy, there may still be unnecessary processes running in the background that are draining your battery. Close any apps or processes that you're not actively using.
  3. Disable unnecessary features: Certain features such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Location Services can use a lot of battery power. Disable these features when you're not using them.
  4. Check for software updates: Make sure your MacBook is running the latest software updates. Go to the Apple menu, select "System Preferences," then click "Software Update." If there are any updates available, follow the on-screen instructions to install them.
  5. Reset the SMC: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC) can often help resolve battery issues. Shut down your MacBook, then press and hold the power button for 10 seconds. Release the button and then turn your MacBook back on.
  6. Contact Apple Support: If none of the above steps work, it's possible that there may be a deeper issue with your MacBook's battery. Contact Apple Support for further assistance. They can run diagnostics on your MacBook to determine if there are any hardware issues that are causing the battery drain.

There are several reasons due to which you're experiencing battery draining issues with your MacBook Pro. Here are some steps that you can try to resolve the problem:

1. Check your Energy Saver settings: Go to System Preferences > Energy Saver and make sure that the settings are optimized for battery life. You can adjust the settings for "Battery" and "Power Adapter" separately, and ensure that the "Put hard disks to sleep when possible" option is checked.

2. Reset the SMC (System Management Controller): Shut down your MacBook Pro, and then press and hold the Shift + Control + Option + Power button for 10 seconds. Release all the keys, and then press the power button to turn it back on.

3. Check for software updates: Make sure that your MacBook Pro is running the latest version of macOS and that all your apps are up to date. Go to the App Store and click on "Updates" to check for any pending updates.

4. Disable unnecessary background processes: Close any unnecessary apps and background processes that may be consuming battery life. You can also try quitting apps that you're not currently using by using the Command + Q shortcut.

5. Check for any third-party software conflicts: Some third-party software or applications may cause battery drain issues. Try uninstalling any recently installed third-party apps to see if the issue is resolved.

6. Run diagnostics: Use Apple Diagnostics to check if there are any hardware issues that may be causing the battery drain. To do this, shut down your MacBook Pro, then turn it back on and immediately press and hold the D key until the diagnostics test starts.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, it's recommended that you contact Apple Support for further assistance or take your MacBook Pro to an authorized Apple service center.
