Smart Mailbox Deletion
When I delete a smart mailbox, where do the emails go? It says they will not be deleted but I only find them through a search that still shows them residing in the former smart mailbox.

A smart mailbox does not contain its messages. It is like the result of a search, that is updated automatically.
They will stay wherever they were before.
