Wrist Detection for Tattooed People -

Hello - I have heavy tattoos around my wrists and the only time it seems to be a problem for me is working out. My watch pauses relentlessly -

Until Apple can fix this issue, is there a short-cut that can use/create to turn wrist detection off when I start a workout and turn it on when I stop?

Apple cannot workaround your putting light-opaque pigments under your skin where green and infra red LEDs are trying to penetrate. You are very lucky that it does not give false readings at other times.

If turning off wrist detection helps then unforunately you will have to do it manually as there is no "Turn off wist detection" as a command in the create shortcut process in iPhone..

You may be able to buy a longer strap and wear it on a part of your arm without tattoos.
