HBO Max

On a computer, you access HBO Max through a browser, not an application.

That's not what the HBO page indicates:

The following computers are supported:

• PC with Windows 7 or later
• Mac with macOS X 10.10 (Yosemite) or later
• Google Chromebooks with Chrome browser version 95 or later

The following web browsers are officially supported:

• The latest version of Chrome or Firefox
• The latest version of Microsoft Edge for Windows
• Safari version 12 or later

I'm pretty sure I've accessed HBO from my 2016 MBP but, I'll double check when I get home.
