energy unit in apple watch series 8

hi, i want to know why my apple watch series 8 does not have the energy unit feature in workout settings. Go to settings > workout > units of measure > scroll down until you see energy units, in my watch, i dont see the energy units section. anyone can tell me where it is or if it has been removed
