Browse in Numbers Spreadsheet Manager

I want to import a text file into Numbers. The User Guide says “In the spreadsheet manager, tap Browse, locate the text file, then tap its thumbnail.”

I don’t see “Browse” anywhere in Numbers spreadsheet manager….

I don’t think there is a browse button and not sure the exact place you’re seeing that instruction.

but, if you click the sidebar button, the rectangular one at the top left ( maybe after you click spreadsheets in the upper left if a file is open) you can then “browse” to iCloud Drive or other locations and find your file that way.

you can tap any text file and it will open as a new table and give you a little pop up that allows you to tap it and adjust the import settings used.
