apple watch series4 is continuously asking for apple id verification but the keyboard of the watch is unusable (too small) and I do not know how to do it via the phone. I think this started after the update to watchos9. or maybe even with watchos8. at the same time, I lost the sound of notification/calls/alarm and starting of workout.
I restarted both the iphone and the watch several times, but nothing changed. any suggestion?

The first (and simplest) thing to try if something isn’t working right is to restart your Apple Watch and its paired iPhone. If necessary (device not responding), try a forced restart. Both methods can be found here:

Since you already tried that and it didn't help, the next steps would be to unpair and pair your watch again and restore from the backup just created. This should result in no loss of data. It deletes all temp and corrupted files and re-indexes the file system.

thank you for your quick reply. The unpairing/repairing worked for blocking then constant message of apple id verification, but it did not work for the sound issue.still no sound on the watch for workout starting or calls/messages notifications, although the vibration is working. again, before the last two or three updates to the new system, both the sound and vibration were working. maybe the speaker is blocked? (the volume is almost at max...). Thanks again for any suggestions.
