Editing a RAW file in Photos leads to it being Unable to Upload

Whenever I edit a RAW file in Photos on my MacBook, it goes into the Unable to Upload folder. It doesn't seem to matter what I do to it, it always happens.

Is this a known bug, and is there a way of fixing this?

This happens with either of my cameras, and both are on the supported RAW files list for Photos.

Repairing the Photos library hasn't fixed it!

Camera model are you using? I have seen a similar report for a Panasonic Lumix S1 and a Canon camera (don't remember which model), but in both cases the camera has been supported.

Could there be any other problem, like lack of iCloud Storage? Lack of local storage on your Mac? Are there any ethnic characters in the filenames of your RAW files?

Is the volume with the Photos Library encrypted? Where is the Photos Library stored?

Thanks @léonie for your reply. I'm also facing same issue

I'm using a Nikon Z6 camera, which is also supported by Photos.

As for your questions, I don't think iCloud storage or local storage on my Mac is the issue, as I have enough space on both. There are no ethnic characters in the filenames of my RAW files either.

I'm not sure if the volume with the Photos Library is encrypted or not, but the library is stored on my Mac's internal hard drive.

Do you have any other suggestions on what could be causing this issue?
