Please help me get rid of do not disturb.

I have deleted Focus profiles, turned OFF "do not disturb" and it is STILL sending my contacts a text saying I have notifications silenced. It's also still not allowing my phone to RING when someone is calling me. I am a recruiter and I am missing calls like crazy. HELP ME MAKE THIS STOP. It is SUPER frustrating. The ONLY DND profile I have EVER set up is from 12 AM to 6 AM - and honestly - I deleted that too since nothing else seemed to work.

"Focus" is not an app. It's part of iOS. It cannot be removed. However, you can follow the instructions already provided in this thread to simply turn it off and not use it.

Why can't you turn it off?
Go to the Control Center and tap on the small round picture icon on the Focus button. Don't press and hold; just tap.
Or, say, "Hey, Siri, turn off Do Not Disturb".
