problems with Ancestry being unavailable

When trying to upload photos from my iPad to Ancestry I am getting the message “We’re sorry Ancestry is currently unavailable. We’re working to resolve the issue. Please try again later”. This has been my experience for the last 3 days. I suspect that Ancestry isn’t down as there is no evidence of others complaining. Help would be much appreciated. I am not terribly computer savvy so an in depth explanation will be needed. Many thanks.

The first thing to do with an errant third-party app is to delete and re-install it. If that fails, you will need to contact Ancestry because that error message sure sounds like the problem is on their end.


Have you tried uploading photos from another type of device, for example a laptop or desktop?
