How to update firmware AirPods Pro 2

I have successfully used the following methods:

1. Use your iPhone to listen to music while connected to your AirPods Pro 2nd generation. Listen for about 30 seconds or more and then put the AirPods Pro 2 back in their case. Connect the case to power and leave your iPhone (connected to a Wi-Fi Network) next to the AirPods. Usually the AirPods update within 15 minutes. OR
2. You can put the AirPods Pro 2 in their case and connect the case to a Mac using the lightning port and cable. The AirPods Pro 2 will update within 15 minutes.
